Welcome to Matte for Mascara. My name is Dinie. I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Matte for Mascara is
my very first attempt at a beauty-related blog. I decided to start this
blog so that I could document my journey into the world of make-up and
share my opinions of beauty products (not just mascaras!) in my own
little corner of the internet.
Why 'Matte for Mascara'? Well, when I first started liking make-up at the young age of 13 , the first item I got hooked on was a mascara. I remember diggin' how some black liquidy stuff in a tube when applied with a brush could make my eyelashes look so lush and my eyes appear bigger and livelier! From that day onward, I began trying so many mascaras it's ridiculous. As for 'Matte', it was thrown in as a (hopefully) clever, trendy make-up-y pun on the word 'mad'.
I am perfectly aware that there will be slip-ups and smudges along the way, but that's what makes a journey colourful, doesn't it? I would be delighted if you could leave some feedbacks/suggestions in the Comments section. Alternatively, you can also reach me at matteformascara[at]gmail[dot]com.
